Ms.Patty if you can tune that out your amazing. When i see it coming now i run to mute veryyyyyyyy fast. Country music has left the building in Nascar.
I must be getting old, that is one the most annoying commercial's i have ever heard.
These 2 beers story's get me.Were do you get 2 beers that strong? Back in my drinking days i would had paid big money for them kind of 2 beers. On a serious note,Dave remember back when City Of Charlotte big shots voted on the basketball joint?Next election term they were all gone, might need to exchange crooks again.
I really hate to bring Politics into racing, but they have pushed their way into it on their own.My bet is when Michelle Obama got the booing from the race in Florida last year Mr.Obama was sitting back thinking you will get your's.What Pitbull is any larger then the EPA.We as stupid race folks ( their thoughts)aren't smart enough to make our on decisions on what is safe for us.Now that the EPA ...along with other D.C. folks can help us out with us paying for it.I can not believe they waited this long ,seeing how them big nasty stinking racecar's pollute the atmosphere with all that bad gas they burn.
Coming off turn 4 with the green green flag waving ( as Brian plants a tree) is Tony Stewart in his Chevy Volt with Denny Hamlin in his Toyota Prius side by side. After race interview Tony thanked his sponsors.... ( Wesson cooking oil for fuel that powered his Chevy Volt)...( Budweiser recycling for the sheet metal on his Volt)...
He also thanked the city of San Francisco for putting on such a great green race on.Their road course built out of old tires had plenty of grip. Hopefully next year when we come back we can use our electric hauler across country.I would also like to thank President Obama for helping us make Nascar a safer and greener place to race.
I watched again a piece on Smokey Yunick the other night when he was at the Rotary Club speaking ( I LOVE THAT MAN).If the Big Government want's to help us poor race folks, maybe they can allow us to clone Smokey and let him run the show.Sorry for the rant.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, NASCAR will encourage fans to buy sustainable concessions at races, expand the use of safer chemical products, conserve water, reduce waste, promote recycling, push products approved by the EPA that have a small enviro footprint and encourage suppliers to get an E3 tuneup aimed at promoting sustainable manufacturing.
The EPA's definition of "encourage" is most likely not the same as mine. When has the EPA ever done anything that wasn't inexpensive !!! They are doing this for the fans though ,uh huh.Makes me wonder what kind of tax break and other bag of goody's Nascar will be getting from this.Same as always thought the fan's will pay for this and get NOTHING for it.Is the Big Guy from Florida gonna get to speak at the DNC now in Charlotte?
Thank you Ms.Patty i'm pretty fond of you myself.
I watched the Football Hall Of Fame when Shannon Sharp was inducted in to the hall.He made the comment (He was not the best player in his family). The moment he said them words my thoughts went straight to Tim Richmond. To me he was the greatest and most talented driver in my life time.Richmond and Dale S.R are the only 2 drivers i have pictures of in Nascar.I was never autograph hound but i do have his.I have had a sour taste ever since Nascar treated him the way they did. When i hear folks talk about the greatest driver in Nascar i always say Tim Richmond hands down.
He was and still that redheaded step child of Nascar. He will never get the honors he so deserves along with a few others. But to us fans he will and some ways that would be more important to him i'll bet.
The things you guy's find.Dave would have caught Bin-Laden the first week.
