This is a great picture. I have made the decals for this Wood Bros. car. Dan Gurney drove it at Riverside with #121 on it. Gurney drove it again at Daytona with #12 on it. Then Panch must have finished the year in it as #21. In some pictures you can see the roof numbers and on Panch's car you can tell the first #1 had been removed. I didn't know this car ran at Asheville, I'm glad you kept this clipping.

I found a picture of my Marvin Panch car today and wanted to show you. My wife and I have been going to the race track every evening and walking, today we went out on the track and made a lap.

Hey David. How you doing? Gurney won a bunch of races there. I always looked forward to that Jan. race out at Riverside. How do you make decals? Do you do it on your computer? Wood Bros. have such a hard time even making the field now. We probably need to do that also.

Dean Jones @ Prime Time Designs lives up the road from me and he helps me with these projects. I met him at the Skoal shop about 1992. He worked there with the guy that was building my motors at the time, Roger Chastine. Dean bought one of those machines that can make the wraps for cars now. There is a van at Leonards Auto Mart right below my house that he wrapped, you may have seen it. Anyway he can draw these decals for me and I have them printed at Staples. The only catch is that I can only do it on a white car. I have a model car show to go to this weekend but I haven't forgot about our trip to John Bells shop , I'll get that lined up soon , I think all of us will have some good conversations about racing on the river. As far as the Wood Bros., I was thrilled that Ambrose ran as well as he did Sunday, I think he could have won that road course race at California earlier in the year.
