I heard that Orr and Neil Bonnett has the same failure, a right rear shock mount, that caused their crashes.

Yes I believe that is correct. I remember that week of Speedweeks 1994. It was a sad time.

Could have been worse for the team I worked with in ARCA. See the "D" on the wall? Our guy made a bit of a speedway rookie mistake and busted the wall there during qualifying. We were the third car out. Shut the track down for the rest of the day. I was taking our car to the museum at Talladega the next day when I heard on the radio about Neil. If your in the museum at Tally look for the yellow and blue #77 Chrysler Lebaron, that's the car. Our driver, thankfully, walked away with a small crack in his sternum.
