Have seen websites indicating race was a co-sanctioned event between USAC and MARC (ARCA). But I've found nothing yet to indicate MARC was involved with the race.
Stacy was the MARC points leader at the time of this race, and he was near the top of the points standings in USAC's stock car division too. But this race seems to have been a USAC-only event.

Thanks Jack. Another article without a mention of MARC.Dave, I've seen that site as well as the page at UltimateRacingHistory.com. May be a case of somebody making educated guess the race had MARC involvement because of Stacy's participation. And once website notes it, every other website copies it as "fact". Until I see an ad, program, article, ticket stub, etc., I'll conclude the race was solely sanctioned by USAC.
