Nope....That was taken before I met Marilynn. She always dressed that way for a race back then and also carried an autograph book and a camera. She quit all of that when I met her. She did continue to write an article for a magazine and the newspaper about the races.

Joe. She was 13-14 when this picture was made. She was just a BIG race fan and a #1 Al Keller BIGGEST fan. She was superstitious as were many back in that time frame so I imagine the rabbit's foot was for Al Keller more than for attempting to catch a soul mate. Her family including her Mother Father and her Grandfather was involved in racing in one form or another.
