I am sorry I could not be with you all tonight. There are some, I know, are jumping for joy that there is no Legend to kick around this Tuesday. But, have no fear (those of you who enjoy my segment) I will be back. For those of you, who don't particularly care for what I have to say, just remember this: I don't care. It doesn't bother me one way or the other. As long as Jeff keeps sending those pay checks, I’m in.
Before we get into the topic of the Legendtorial, let me fill you in on my latest experience with the NASCAR Fan Council. As many of you know, I was on the Fan Council for at least five years before they discovered I participated in this show and on this website. I was summarily dismissed. Last year they sent me an e-mail asking me if I wished to participate again. I said yes and was back on the council for the entire 2015 season. Friday of last week, I got an e-mail asking me to continue my participation with an "application" I needed to complete. I did so and within minutes, I was advised that because I was connected with this site and with the "press" I could not belong. The exact statement was that there are things discussed in the Fan Council NASCAR does not want the general public to know. How does that rock your world?
