One of the highlights of Billy Scott's racing career, to race the super speedway with the drivers he had driven with thoughout his career on the dirt track circuit. Many congratulations came from some of the drivers and car owners. He was offered a ride the folllowing week at Dover but he said, "I've already lost $500., just being out of work". Glenn Wood told Billy if he didn't stay active in Grand National Racing, in a few months the fans would not even remember his name. We are really surprised how many people do remember him. Thanks to the great racing fans!!!

Thanks a million True Race Fan!!! When can we meet you and how much do we owe you fordoing PR for us? You made so many wonderful points, whichwe wish wecould say we are worthy to receive. Will say we tried to be a respected driver, that was first priority. Our fans made that easy, as it didn't matter where we finished, they would always come to the pits to encourageus with, "That's okay Billy, we'll get them next week". The most cherished words we received, if we had car problems, or wrecked, came from one of my car owners Robert Gee; who would always say, "You're my horse if you never get out of the stable". Always worked in making us laugh and not feel as bad about not winning. Now, back to you and our appreciation!! We are not joking when we say we would like to meet you as this would have to be one of, if not the greatest compliment we ever received. A copy of this has definitely earned a spot in our Racing Scrapbooks ( one of the 10 aboutthree to four inchs thick).God loves you True Race Fan, and we love you too,Billy and Barbara.
