Daytona announced Dean Hendley as Nascar Champion at Savannah Speedway in 1967. Billy's wife had kept all finishes at the three tracks Billy was in the championship running. Barbara's records had Billy winning the championship by 4 points. After a letter and telephone call to Daytona, the Scotts' received the letter above!!!
