Hope you put the video so I can get it. Loved Pete , worked with him at Augusta and then with the GN West at Spanaway Speedway in 1971. Hiom and Dan Scott were a pair.

Hi Harvey, yes Pete and Dan were always near and dear to our hearts. We loved them so much. We do have the DVR of Billy's Retirement Banquet but don't know if the children want to put it on here or not. It's their choice. We do have a DVR of some old races and also some later ones but don't know how to put them on. If we do, will try to remember to let you know.God bless and we love you,Billy and Barbara Scott

Augusta had closed and I was in the Army at Madigan General in Tacoma working on the ambulance at Spanaway Speedway the last time I saw Pete. The track hosted a GN west so when I got to the track I asked if Pete was there. I had read in SMR he was now in charge of GN west, so I ask for Pete. They sent him over to the ambulance when he arrived, he walked over in a 3 piece suit and looked like a big wheel. When I steped out of ambulance he about fell down , He said "what are you doing here" I told him I heard he needed a good crew so I showed up. " .

Harvey we could almost hear Pete's voice saying those words as we read them. He had to always show his manly side when with a lot of people (like another one we knew well) but when he was with close friends, his heart shined like diamonds. He would let you know he loved you in his own way. He always liked to have fun (like the other one). We should always show how we feel about others, as we never know when we won't be able to let them know. We just always say, "Wish we had told him/her, this or that" after they have past away. We're happy to know we shared the same friends!! Stay in touch Harvey, as we appreciate and enjoy your comments.God bless and we love you.Billy and Barbara
