Woody, I wish I could give you an answer, but I can't....sorry. Somewhere around that time frame though, we had a mechanic (Danny Collins) who drove some, but I doubt it was him. Unfortunately, he was killed (on his own time) making the 3rd driver for B&R who was killed.Buddy

Woody, here's a story from the Fredericksburg paper about Danny driving in the July 1975 Firecracker 200 at Southside Speedway in Richmond. If memory serves correctly, Danny raced primarily at Old Dominion and Beltsville. Click on story to enlarge.

As reported again in the Fredericksburg paper, Danny Collins came back to Richmond's Southside Speedway again a year later in 1976 for the Firecracker 200 in a Bobby Allison built Burton & Robinson Nova and won.

Found the little excerpt below in the May 19, 1977 Danville Bee about the upcoming 1977 Halifax 200 at South Boston Speedway:The Lennie Pond entry was a surprise. He'll be in the Burton-Robinson Nova owned by John Divers of Fairfax, the same car that Danny Collins of Fredericksburg drove on the Late Model Sportsman circuit last year.Sound like Danny Collins wasn't in the B&R car after the 1976 season, unless he returned at some point.

Here's a little more history on the car stretching into the early part of 1978 season from another Fredericksburg story. If the John Divers Late Model Sportsman car was still being sponsored by Burton & Robinson in 1978, then Dennis had come full circle from his early 60s B&R modified #54 to a B&R Late Model.
