I think this was my first race. Oct of 1973, The National 500. Glotzbach, in the #28 chevy, qualified on the pole but was disqualified and started back in the field. Pearson won the pole and he and Glotzbach crashed around lap 55 in turn 3 and 4. Pearson nearley went over the wall before sliding down to the bottom of the track. Cale won the race in the Kar Kare Chevy.

You would be correct. I was there too. My second race. The same race was my first in 1972
