After a day at the office near downtown Dallas planning 7-Eleven motorsports promotions, the Dallas Morning News caught the back of my old '77 gold Chevy station wagon caught in traffic headed home on Central Expressway. The 19-mile drive took 1 hour, 10 minutes. We all made racing "sacrifices."
