East Coast Ford Flatheads Run The "Little Rock"

General

The only thing missing in this photo is of the flagman jumping 3 feet in the air with the flag waving. The hay rolls in the back ground give it a nice touch. Thanks for allowing Louie and I the opportunity to race with you all, from what I hear Little Louie Hill is on cloud nine from this return to racing, you've made a couple of guests very happy. Lastly, I was intrigued by the fans clapping as we come off the track, if that don't make one feel what we're doing is making a difference, I don't what does. Thanks for the memories.

Great food at Sumter Speedway!!!

General

After visiting Sumter Speedway for the first time for the CAARA vintageshow I was very impressed with the track officials, the fans, but Ireally want to highlight the concession stand.

I was getting hungry about 6pm and asked Robbie Solesbee (score keeper)how the food was. Of course Robbie said it was "Really good!" I thoughtto myself "Ya, promote the dry hamburgers and carni-dogs." So I strolledover to the stand and checked out the menu and ordered the chickenstrips and fries. Booya!!! It was by far the best track food I've everate, the folks that work the concession really make some good food and they even had honey-mustard dip for the chicken...Now THATS service! Goodwork Sumter concession!!!

Someone should start a new series on speed TV, "The great American trackfood cook-off." Get America's finest track food chefs to compete withtheir finest chili dog, hamburger and chicken strips.
