Thomas Cox from nearby Asheboro placed 6th on his way to Rookie of the Year honors.

Is Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson named for someone in the same family as Joe Littlejohn?

Dave, I think the answer is the same as when my daughter is asked at Cracker Barrel, "Do you want biscuits or cornbread?". She always says "Yes".

Wonder if that is the car that ended up with Tommy Bostick behind the wheel, winning at NC and SC tracks until 1969?

Hey Tim, Slot Car Racing was big back then. Seems a lot of "BIG" car drivers raced slot cars too!

This news clipping is from 1964 or '65.

Who can put names with the faces? I don't know them all but I'm sure somebody will. Richard and Dale Inman are easily recognizable but I see a few more familiar faces. Here's a hint, some are members here at Racers Reunion.

Chase, I think this is the same '60 Plymouth driven by Thomas Cox that later ran at the old Rockingham Speedway in 1965 with another Cox behind the wheel, Thomas was driving a Ford at Rockingham at the time.
