JC, I think this is Darrell Waltrip as when Ricky Rudd drove for Digard he drove the downsized cars in 1981 and they were Buicks I believe. I could be wrong though

You're right Craig; Ricky never drove the old "big" cars for Digard.

Upon closer inspection, I think I'm mistaken. The sixth car in line looks like a downsized Regal. At Riverside in '81, teams had the option of using their "big" cars. Most teams chose to do this. If this is the case, then Rudd would have been in the 88. Everyone had to run the new cars beginning with the Daytona 500. I recall that Earnhardt was one of the few running a new car that day. Sorry for the error.

I guess it could be a downsized car but it kind of looks like maybe one of the Miradas as well I guess it doesnt really matter its a great pic and thanks for posting it
