Looks like a Lyndwood, tell us more. Tucci out of NY ?

This is a Pat Bilbow chassis out of Lynweld or Lynwood. They used both names. Tucci ran out of Quantico, Virginia and Bilbow built his chassis in Pennsylvania. Tucci set the first regionally sanctioned National record at Atco in July 1960 and was paralyzed in August.

Looks like the later car was run as Lyndwood Welding.

I grew up in Wilkes-Barre and visited Pat's shop as a teenager. Check my profile for Lyndwood door art on my truck. Are you on the HAMB ?

Very cool truck, great tribute on the door. Stay tuned and I will post original photo's of the early Bilbow chassis'. I have bare chassis pictures. I don't spend much time on HAMB. Usually see it at a friends shop. Getting to be too many websites to keep track of. Try mine: www.mightyquick.com .
