We used to love to watch Denny when he and the other 3 "Eastern Bandits" - Eddie Flemke, Red Foote, and Rene Charland came south and raced on Friday nights at my hometown Southside Speedway in Richmond. In fact, Denny and Red moved to Richmond and made it their base of operations, with Denny often working out of Junie Donlavey's shop.
