I never saw this run that I recall.I did work beside the primary engine man at Obaugh Ford soon after Petie essentially retired from racing.I recall it being in the News Virginian with some pictures after he and it won a class title of some sort.Perhaps regional or national?Your dad doesn't recall?

I recall that too but I'm not sure either, I'll have to ask him. When I was in high school he had a pro stock camaro thatCharlie Rodgers drove (i think thats his name) Maybe had another owner(s) and I believe Lee Edwards was building the motors.

Yep lee did the motors im pretty sure charli and petie were partners they were at several national events when i was there not sure they made the field much pro was a hard class back then charlie was ok !

I agree, pro stock was starting to become a big business. I always liked Charlie, he was pretty funny with I was around him.
