This 1982 Wrangler Jeans ad featured "One Tough Customer" Dale Earnhardt showing his "soft" side with children Kelley and Dale, Jr. That's the Bud Moore 1982 Wrangler Thunderbird. New York's Dancer, Fitzgerald, Sample advertising agency produced the ad for Greensboro, North Carolina's Blue Bell, Inc., parent company of Wrangler.
I always "lost" my protests with the agency creative director who constantly had Dale's Wrangler ride going in the wrong direction and added the airbrushed "wind streaks" to every racing scene.
