1968 Daytona 500 Chums
On the morning of the 1968 Daytona 500 (February 25, 1968) drivers (L to R) Tiny Lund, Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough and LeeRoy Yarbrough seemed best of friends. Cale would win for the Wood Brothers followed by LeeRoy in 2nd wheeling Junior Johnson's mount. Lund was 8th for Bud Moore and Petty came in 9th with windshield problems in the mysterious "black vinyl top" Petty Plymouth seen at right.
