NASCAR Bedfellows Try IMSA 24 Hour-1986
It was a case of strange bedfellows teaming up when Jack Roush entered 4 NASCAR drivers to wheel one of his IMSA GTO cars for the 1986 SunBank 24 at Daytona. Included were 1985 Cup Rookie of the Year Ken Schrader (before he bolted Ford for Rick Hendrick's Chevy) along with Bill Elliott, Kyle Petty and Ricky Rudd. The car crashed out before 24 hours ended.
