Stock Car Racing History
Beginning a few years ago, I blogged about each of the Richard Petty's 200 wins. The follow-up series was about wins by Petty Enterprises drivers other than Richard. Last year, my focus was on races where Pearson won and Petty finished second.
This year my plan is to blog about wins by Cale Yarborough or Bobby Allison with 43 second. My first post of the series went up today & is about the March 9, 1980 Carolina 500 at Rockingham. Got a feeling a few of y'all here may have been in the stands that day.

Hover over the Photos menu option at the top and choose Galleries. In the search box, you have to kind of experiment. I found some of the pics you are referring to by using the following phrases:
"harry gant 77" (put the quotation marks around the phrase)
Example: http://racersreunion.com/gallery/ss=%22harry%20gant%2077%22
"77 harry gant"
77 gant
You may find other phrases work to surface more of them than I did.
