Another fun read. Almost like being there.
While reading these accounts, the biggest thing that strikes you compared to today is how many laps difference there were between each position. Pierre deBries wasn't around back then.
Proud papa's chest could not be sticking out any further. Thanks Chase.
Thanks Tim, and Chase for the picture from the race.
Did not know Maurice raced a few, let alone that Richard thought he was better.
I'd somewhat be impressed if Kyle managed it in a car not decked to the gills with technology from one of the top Cup teams but otherwise, I couldn't care less even if he does it one day.
Thanks for another cool read, Tim. Loving these 'minutes'.
Interesting to see Indy winner Bill Holland's name. Did not know he drove stockers too.
Thanks Tim, all is good. Hope the sun is shining down on you in Columbia as usual! I can definitely see where you're coming from, with your experience of getting caught up in someone else's payback. I don't condone it either and would rather see them settle it in person, if only their crews would let them.
I have noticed that Shrub is on the entry list for this weekend's truck race at Kansas. Things could get interesting, again.
