Red Farmer will always be my Hall of Fame driver. A Modified title in 1956 and 3 Sportsman titles from 1969 to 1971, along with the Permatex 300 in '71. If the "Iron Man" is in,(and as he should) so should Red!

Soaked the hell out of those belted tires. Aired the right side as big as possible to get the stagger to turn in the corners...and REAL men drove 'em!

- It has become such a joke. If NASCAR can do such a good job with the inspection process, why then do they continue to list the "start and park" cars with bogus reasons out of the race, just list the reason as "withdrew". Looks like they could find the brake and suspension issues if they are so concerned about safety.....it is all about the advertising....not the racing!
