Someone really had a lot of wasted time on their hands to do this.
What pray tell does it matter how many times her name is mentioned.It has already been proven that she is very vital to the attendance and of new fans (women) being drawn to the sport.
Why don't we as fans just sit back and enjoy the racing or turn off the TV. That is one's option.

I joined RR because I liked what I saw. History of auto racing and the preservation of the same. I have relived many memories since I first ventured onto the site after some racing friends told me about it.
I am not going to bring up anything from the past that has come close to making me leave RR. There have also been times when I couldn't keep my mouth shut and said some things that maybe I should not have said. But all of that is in the past.
Let's do as Johnny say's and concentrate on the history of racing and quit the running down of other people who have contributed a lot to racing and continue to do so whether we like them or not. It is really uncalled for. I will do my part. Will You?
Very well stated Bo. I have to agree with Macon being a non supporting sports town. They lose every sports team they have had. The Atlanta Braves moved their farm team from Macon because the city would not upgrade our ball park. By the way. Bo is a former competitor of mine from MGR. I had lost track of him but have been reconnected thanks to RR.
You are lucky there was a picture of the pole sitter. The Macon Telegraph had nothing in it. But that's par for the course here. If it ain't football, basketball or baseball forget it. Oh yeah. Golf covers two pages.

There is a good BBQ place in downtown Welcome, N. C. Cecil Gordon and I ate lunch there one day. In fact most of the guys from RCR was eating there also.
We used to ride motorcycles in that area. There is park also where the 10 commandments are displayed in stone on the side of a hill and also replica of the tomb where they placed the body of JESUS. Can't think of the name of it.
