SOMETHING SPECIAL TO ALL ON RACERS REUNION

General

Love that movie, "White Christmas" and when I do Christmas events, that song is one of the most requested. Love to sing it. Guess I always to dream of a White Christmas. Most Christmas movies include a snowy scene. Always so beautiful.

IS BRAD KESELOWSKI the new Nascar?? THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE??

Stock Car Racing History

That is a good question, although I'm not sure I can answer it with certainity. I would like to think Brad IS the face of NASCAR which we have always known existed in the Pettys, Bakers, Earnhardts, and many others. As for the switch to Ford, as Cousin Carl made so plain in the post race interview, ALL the Ford teams work together (although I don't believe that) and that should help Penske. The two Richard Petty Motorsports Fords have qualified good and actually run good for the most part. Seems bad luck and poor pit stops cause their downfall.

Thankful for my uncle and the Pettys on Thanksgiving

General

Beautiful, Chase! Thanks for sharing that. Your Uncle got you into the sport and it was my Uncle Bobby who took me my first time when I was five. I wish your Uncle the very best and I will certainly add him to my prayer list. That is a truly incredible picture. Shows two very good friends together for a holiday! Oh, and seems like The King always comes through. Something for the younger generation of drivers to emulate. Hope your Thanksgiving was awesome and that you will have a great weekend.

Brad Daugherty's Comment About Brad Kesolowski's Championship

Current NASCAR

I am very familiar with the entire life story of Brad Daughtery. I know all about how The King befriended him when he was a kid, at North Wilkesboro I think. I don't keep up with basketball, in fact, I have a strong dislike for that sport. The longest two minutes on earth are the last two minutes of a basketball game. I was once waiting for a program to come on at its regularly scheduled time and a basketball game was on ahead of it. When I turned the channel to catch my program, there was 1:59 left in the game on. Over 12 minutes later the final buzzer sounded. As for what I said about the grades of players, etc., that was national research about a year or so ago. Just stating the facts. Brad D. may be a great guy, but he frankly bores me and his voice aggrevates me. That thing this year with the "fork" was getting on my nerves really bad. Quit watching the prerace because of that.

Brad Daugherty's Comment About Brad Kesolowski's Championship

Current NASCAR

Hope this doesn't violate the ROE but I will offer up this piece of information gathered about a year ago. Of all the athletes in college and professional sports, basketball players test the very lowest in grade points and general knowledge. A little above the football players. So, even with his polished appearance, Brad is still one lacking in adequate thought processes.

Nearly time to saddle up, but with who?

Stock Car Racing History

I was always brand loyal to the Mopars. When The King went to Ford in 1969, he and I had some discussions on that point. I think he knew from the very beginning of that situation that he would be back with Mopar . In 1979 when he went with Chevy, I was,by that time, totally committed to The King no matter what he drove. I bought The Chevys and the Pontiacs. When he went back to Mopars, I had an Intrepid. Now, brand just doesn't matter as long as it is NOT a Toyota. My family had a Ford, ONCE, and that was enough for us. I'm like you BT, no real favorite, but I do like Brad without a doubt and it's not only because he is driving a Dodge this year. I also like Ryan Newman just because he's a good driver and a good guy. I'm no really sure who I'll pull for next year but I do know I will lean heavily on Brad doing well. But, seriously, and I really hate to say this, what happens this weekend in Homestead is going to have a great deal of bearing on whether or not I will even care next year. Odd, 61 years around the sport and I'm so disenchanted right now I feel totally lost. Let me know what you decide.

STOCKS FOR TOTS ON DECEMBER 11TH

Administrative

Hi folks,

We are just under a month away from a very special Tuesday night in Mooresville, NC. That evening, the Stocks For Tots event will take place at the NASCAR Institute in Mooresville. I was there last year and it was beyond impressive. Dozens of stories from fans that came from all over to attend that event. But, bottom line here, go to www.stocksfortots.com and read what this is all about. If you can read that and NOT support the good work these folks are doing, then there must be something vile inside you. I am a "kids" person. Stocks for Tots in a "Kids" organization. Read the homepage there and see what you think.

I will be attending Stocks for Tots again this year. It will be one of the main highlights of my Christmas season.

Thank you.,

Tim
