Jack, in 1971, there was a hobby division driver at Myrtle Beach named Howard Boone. He was from Columbia (also), orange '55 chevy, and seems like it was #11. Reckon there's a connection?

Bobby,They both may be the same guy. I don't remember a whole lot about him, but he was moving up in the ranks for a while. Maybe someone else will have something to add. I have some other 70's stuff to add when I get around to it.Jack
