Gary, this race was won by Petty, his first in a Dodge but the record books have the winning car listed as a Plymouth.Thanks

Several years ago a found an obscure internet article talking about this race being won by a Dodge, the artticle had a blurry video pic of Petty's Dodge in victory lane, I never paid any attention to it but when I found this pic quite awhile ago it came together.I researched Racing reference.com for the spring and fall events at Texas World Speedway in 1972 and determined the publicized starting line up matching this pic.
