Hello VeronicaMy name is Tim Bowdler and I am a journalist from the UK. I am doing a story about Roy's car with the help of Shaun Coleman (who has been great). I suspect the photo of Roy in the Impala is a scan from a book and was wondering if you can send me a full-size scan of the picture above.Hope you can help.RegardsTim

Tim,As I can tell it is a photo. It looks like it had a ruff trip. I will be willing to send you the picture as long as you make sure you give it back to me. All the raceing stuff I have is what my dad left. So they mean a lot to me. If I find anouther one I'll get it to you. Your friend Veronica

Hello VeronicaThank you, I appreciate it but a) I think I've got the wrong car - there's another picture on the site featuring the right car. However, I wouldn't want you to send me the original - I just assumed you might be able to scan it in and send it via email. It's clearly a valuable item - I wouldn't want you to trust the vagaries of the postal system and expect it to arrive safely with me and then, equally, expect it to arrive safely with you. I can find another one... somewhere, I hopeI appreciate your generosity though - it's very nice of you to offer. Clearly, your dad had a lot of fun racing and I am pleased that Shaun has been able to take the trouble to get Roy's car back to its former glory.Best regardsTim
