Wish the best for you always Dave.
Days of Thunder style action then ensues. "He's blocking me!!"
You know NASCAR officials will be at their meddlesome best, throwing the caution even if someone gets out of shape a little during the end.
If someone I disliked on track got beat up like Brad did, that'd lower my grudge against him a bit so I don't expect the drivers he's got riled up, to be on the lookout for paying him back on track as much as they would have had Brad not gotten beat up. Still, if he's in contention for a win at Phoenix, I don't expect anyone to cut him a break either.
Wise words from 'Pops' there Jim. I wish all the new fans of the sport that keep harping on about how fights like at Texas are bad for the sport's image and professionalism knew that it was always like this until the PC brigade came in and started trying to 'clean up' the sport in the last decade or so.
This system is a nice halfway house between wins and consistency. Newman and Kenseth are proving the consistency part while anyone that's been assured of moving on to the next round thanks to a win knows just valuable a win is now. It was never as important to win as it is now but yet the consistency aspect is there too if you want to go that route.
Yea for sure the one he wore in the 70s was not a kangol but the one he wears nowadays is.
I bought me a black n white Kangol a few months back. Love it.
