We really lost a special guy in the racing community this week. All of us who knew him will long remember his racing accomplishments and his humor - few could tell a story like Ervin Carpenter! There will be a graveside service for Ervin on Monday, November 11, at 2 p.m. at Grandview Memorial Cemetery. Located at 620 South Cherry Road in Rock Hill, SC. He will be in the Good Shepherd section. Greene Funeral Home, NW Chapel, in Rock Hill is handling arrangements. His wife Brenda hopes to have a memorial later at Lancaster Speedway, and when arrangements for this are made, we will post for you.
