Jack Ingram from Asheville, NC picked up his second Augusta Raceway Late Model Sportsman win of the 1970 season on May 9th, 1970. Ingram drove his 1957 Chevrolet to the victory. Tommy Porter of Savannah, GA started on the pole, and led the first 8 laps before developing engine problems.
