Here'a a couple more photos of the day Dale Earnhardt got his first Cup win for Bud Moore, his first Cup win in a Ford and his first win of any kind at Dalington after beating Cale Yarborough in the April 1982 CRC Chemicals Rebel 500. That's the late Darlington Raceway president Barney Wallace in victory lane with Dale wearing the camel jacket.

If you think Dale didn't have some devil in him, look at his left hand pushing the Wrangler cap down over the face of the crew memher next to me. I "think" that might be shop foreman and front tire changer Doug Williams, one of Dale's favorites, because I don't see him elsewhere in this shot.
