Racers Reunion Outreach

-RacersReunion® OUTREACH

Welcome and glad to have you here Pastor Ken Sharpe! I don't know if you knew or heard of Rev. pat who used to be a Racers Pastor until his death a few years ago, I was going through some difficult time and Rev. Pat was most helpful in getting me through it all. He became a good friend and I had friend who personally knew him that was in racing. I never met him but felt like I had.I am looking forward to having a prayer forum here! Thanks!

who is your favreot driver & why

Current NASCAR

Mine was Richard Petty until he retired. Then I liked Davey Allison and lost him. :( Then I liked this kid Jeff Gordon who reminded me of another Richard Petty. I also liked Tim Richmond, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Neil Bonnet, Harry Gant, Dave Marcis and so many others. Now I am a Dale, Jr fan and was ever since he went into the then called Busch Series. Saw him race his 1st Cup race in Charlotte in 99........will never forget that day! Loved watching Elliot and Hermie Sadler and others come up through the ranks like it used to be in the good ole days!I was a closet Dale Earnhardt fan the last 3 years of his career. I loved it when he won the "Daytona 500" That was a day I cried for him in joy! Had to respect the man for what he did for his community and never let people know how kind he really. After all he was "The Intimidator"... but he wanted to change his image starting in 2001. The rest is history! May all those we have lost R.I.P. Thanks for the memories!

Who did they pay off??????

Current NASCAR

I must give a lot of credit to Joe Gibbs Racing. However, I also think Toyota stepped up their program and also I honestly believe NASCAR has given them a lot of breaks to have them where they are in the points chase. NASCAR has over looked a lot where penalties and fines could have and should have been levied against Kyle Busch and the #18 team for actions detrimental to others on and off the track. Some of his moves were out of line and NASCAR just kept their mouth shut. All I want to see is consistency in how NASCAR deals with all teams, drivers and owners. NASCAR waited way too long before testing the HP on the Toyota's. Half the season has almost passed and the damage has been done. Too many good teams have been cheated out of a fair chance for the chase IMHO!
