Jimmy, the property would have been returned to the owner and pictures, serial numbers, video, of the items held for court purposes. The court case could go on for years and this keeps the property from being tied up and the owner not being able to use it. It also saves storage space for the police agency.

There was also a Harvick pit crew member there and Kyle was at a two against one disadvantageto start with. I thought drivers put their cars in gear before they got our of it, so it will not roll away. It was a dangerous situation, but Kyle had no way of knowing that Harvick's car was out of gear. He was just LEAVING!!!
