Bristol M-S Results May 18,1963
This Modified-Sportsman race was held at the ½ paved Bristol International Speedway on Saturday night May 18th, 1963. Bristol held weekly Modified- Sportsman races at the track during the 1963 season. Ken Rush of High point, NC won the pole position for the 50 lap main event, driving a Modified 1936 Chevy. During the feature race Rush led all the way from his pole starting spot. Pee Wee Griffin, and Paul Radford pressured Rush all through the race, but couldn’t take over the lead. A reported crowd of 2500 fans was in attendance to see Ken Rush take the victory.
