Wonder Boy (with busted lip) Calls Bad Boy Brad a Little Dip....

Current NASCAR

This is the sleezzy part of this professional sport that I'm not to proud of at all. I'm fully aware thatemotions on the race track trigger brawls like we saw today, but I'm thinking about the exampleit's setting for the young fans that idolize these guys.

Doesn't really separate us much from the stick and ball crowd, now does it?

The irony of this is that I'm actually a Hendrick fan, but in my opinion, Brad K. didn't do anything I wouldn't expect my driver to do going for the win with 3 to go. Given the importance of this race win, if I'm Roger P., I'd be asking questions if he hadn't made that move.

Is Brad's style to careless, too aggressive on the track?

Would the Busch brothers, Clint Boyer, Brian Vickersmade that move??

Would Dale Earnhardt SR.?

After a Lot of consideration I came to this conclusion

Current NASCAR

Well,...my opinion...I'm going to give it till the season is over, ponder it this winter and probably be thoroughly pissed off till Daytona.

Now, as far as the 500 mile plate races are concerned,...........

I think qualifying should be split into two, balls out ten lap heat races, as it is on every other Saturday night track in the country, thus eliminating thiscurrent clusteron pit road. And......

500 milers should be split into two 250 same day races, make it a double points day, reverse the top ten (winner starts 10th)in the second 250 and implement a 1/8th mile chicane coming out ofturn 3. If youget wrecked beyond repair in the first 250, you start your backup car in scratch in the 2nd 250.

It will slow them down, eliminate the follow the leader segment, add something new for thepoor bast%^*# that paid $100.00 for and opportunity to rub thighs withthe fat, smelly guy seated next to himand I believe by spreading the field, reduce chances for the big one.

I've vented,....I feel better.

Thank you.

LABOR DAY RACE RETURN TO DARLINGTON?

Current NASCAR

Nascarcloses Rockingham and North Wilkes, takes one away from Atlanta, cancels the Labor Day race at Darlington and is just now starting to realize their wheels are no longer balanced. What happened???

It's called abandoning your roots.

LETS SEE IF ANYONE HAS THE POWER TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION

Current NASCAR

After a disabling 42 1/2 car pile up with five to go and discounting the fact that She's four laps down and piloting a cripple but still mobile #10, the Go Daddy car wins, mainly because Nascar has once again experienced yet another mysterious electrical gremlin resulting in a catastrophic yellow flag/light failure that has allowed the only remaining functional race car, the #10, to complete the event, thus insuring the dark haired Princess a customary Champagne Shower in Victory Circle and restoring happiness, holsumness and wellness to America.

Nascar's finger pointing for the equipment failure laid blame to the well known "Racing Gods" and a here-to-fore unknown "Racing Fairy". (And yes, they can do that.)

The finishing order also substantiated a previous statement by which "The King" himself offered the only possible scenario that the green and black Chevy would take the checkers.

Once again proving that truth is stranger than fiction.

Kyle Larson: I've had a theory

Current NASCAR

I too am impressed with this young driver's talent level, but I am also very concerned about the hangover side effect of instant success. Namely a swollen head. (expl. Kyle Busch)

A REDUCTION COMING FROM NASCAR

Current NASCAR

Let's see,...less horsepower, less cubic inches, less intake hole size, less tire width and they are going to dirty up the cars for next year.

Yepppeeeee...sounds like everybody's going to be drivin a '60's era dirt modified for next year.

The powers at Nascar needs to rethink some of their latest thoughts on how to increase their weekly paid attendance at these events and 50cent concerts ain't it. This less is more enhancement approach is as ridicules as removing 30k seats at Daytona as to ensure a sellout for each event. (And no kidding, they are doing that as we speak)

If they regress to these changes we'll be back to a 150mph, 43 car wad for 500 miles again and I'm going to take up golf for some excitement.

Paul Menard

Current NASCAR

Lotta pressure, LOT OF PRESSURE on this guy at this exact moment. Play this clip again and notice how rigid and tense PM is during this interview. He doesn't know whats going on at home, he's concerned about the car set up, what it is and what it's going to be and he does not want that microphone in his face right now. On top of that, he's lookin at a 2/3 hour rain delay, or possible postponement till Monday adding even more to his frustration. That being said, I think he handled better that I might have. I'm certain however, that Steve Burns meant no disrespect and was only trying to follow up during a rain delay.

Bristol Caution Lights

Current NASCAR

IMO,...If they HAD had a green/white/checker with 2 to go in that race, Nascar knew that Carl Edwards would either win the race or they would be sweeping up the remains of the #99 and his closest competitor and making some great promotional highlight film. And,....they would have been correct, but of course, the rain screwed that all up.
