Hey Jack I always love your stuff. Wow I thought I knew a lot about Bob Pressley but seeing him starting in that 22nd position was a suprise.

Hey Paul - I'm not sure where Bob Pressley started, but his finishing position was 23rd. One interesting aspect of the Skyrocket 100 was that the restart of the race was delayed 5 minutes in order to give Roger Baldwin extra time to replace an axel. Baldwin went on a charge from his 4th place starting spot to take the lead on lap 85, and then on to the checkered flag. All of this was from a race report in the July 18th, 1963 issue of Southern MotorSports Journal.Jack
